How you’ll make an impact:
As the R&D Project Coordinator, you will help plan, manage and complete research and development projects, supporting both project managers and the buildout of our Program Management Office. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, collaborative, and skilled at managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. They will help organize and drive cross‑departmental projects across the drug development pipeline, working closely with technical teams and turning complex activities into clear, actionable project plans.
Responsibilities include:
Partner with the Lead Program Managers in planning, organizing, and tracking activities across Kymera’s programs.
Develop and maintain integrated program and portfolio plans, timelines, and milestone trackers.
Coordinate cross‑functional dependencies and help ensure program activities remain on schedule and within scope.
Support the Program Manager in portfolio prioritization, risk assessment, and mitigation planning.
Maintain consistent program documentation and status updates aligned with organizational standards.
Help manage and improve program management systems and processes, including templates, tools, and dashboards.
Maintain and organize program documentation repositories (e.g., meeting notes, action logs, decision registers, and Gantt charts).
Assist in developing standardized reporting materials for program reviews, governance meetings, and leadership updates.
Track and reconcile cross‑program metrics, budgets, and resource allocations.
Support coordination across multiple programs to promote consistency and efficiency in planning and execution.
Assist the team in metrics collection and analysis.
Skills and experience you’ll bring:
BS or MS degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related field.
3+ years of experience working in a biotech or pharma company with a strong interest in program/project management.
Experience with Microsoft Project, SharePoint, ThinkCell.
Must be results‑driven and goal oriented with the ability to anticipate potential problems and resolve them before cost and schedule are impacted.
Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical overviews and strategic direction within cross‑functional teams and to upper management.

Compensation:
Kymera offers a competitive compensation package that recognizes both results and capabilities through market‑based, performance‑driven pay.
The anticipated base salary range for this role is $85,000 – $150,000, with eligibility for annual bonus, equity participation, and comprehensive benefits.
Actual salary is based on a holistic evaluation of the specific role/level as well as each candidate’s depth of experience and the capabilities they bring to the position.
