Responsibilities
Work directly with key customers to understand their requirements and devise creative solutions.
Define the product vision and strategy for Compute shapes; formulate 18‑month and 3‑year hardware roadmaps.
Define pricing for Compute hardware offerings and own marginal‑cost models.
Launch new Compute hardware products, demonstrating end‑to‑end product management.
Collaborate with engineering on product requirements and designs, translating business needs into technical specifications.
Lead go‑to‑market activities, including positioning, gathering customer references, and evangelizing products.
Provide product demos, training, and assistance for customers.
Follow industry trends, conduct market research, and perform competitive analysis.
Drive internal or external programs to analyze gaps and increase product adoption.
Create enablement content for customer success.
Define, measure, and manage customer experience and business performance goals.
Proactively identify and resolve risks that could derail projects.
Engage and influence executives and leaders independently.
Act as a thought leader and spokesperson for OCI Compute products, representing the company at conferences, events, and customer engagements.
Minimum Qualifications
BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Hardware product management background with 10+ years of experience planning hardware offerings; experience at a leading cloud provider is a plus.
New‑product introduction experience with a track record of launching multiple hardware products.
Deep knowledge of hardware platforms and systems; familiarity with offerings from AMD, Intel, Nvidia, and Ampere.
Strong understanding of L6 and L11 bill of materials and processor, memory, and SSD component space.
Knowledge of thermal and cooling systems and ability to articulate cooling methods.
Customer‑centric, customer‑facing, and problem‑solving experience in a fast‑paced environment.
Deeply technical with an understanding of cloud infrastructure and ability to synthesize customer needs into features.
Compensation & Benefits US: Hiring range $115,400 – $251,600 per year. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
