This job is responsible for building and leading a team to deliver technology products and services that meet business outcomes. Key responsibilities include developing a technology strategy, ensuring technology solutions comply with applicable standards, promoting design, engineering, and organizational practices, and advocating and advancing modern, Agile solution delivery practices. The Payments & Innovation Platform Manager leads the platform engineering function for 6 multiple payments application s . The Payments Platform Manager is accountable for designing comprehensive solutions that meet business requirements in support of a given portfolio. This role will drive collaboration with partners to create solutions that align to the architecture principles, leverage common solutions and services, and meet financial targets (cost and benefits). The Platform Manager will own solutions for application management risks and collaborate with the platform engineers in agile teams to drive platform resilience, stability and performance. This role is an experienced manager, who is responsible for building and leading a team to deliver technology products and services that meet business outcomes. Their primary responsibility is to the people they manage, ensuring they are developing through coaching, mentoring, feedback, and hands‑on career development. Other key responsibilities may include developing a technology strategy and ensuring technology solutions comply with applicable standards. This role advocates and advances modern, Agile solution delivery practices and evangelizes great design, engineering, and organizational practices. Responsibilities

Builds and manages teams by performing financial activities to inform workforce strategy and hiring practices, setting and tracking maturity and quality objectives, and training employees/teams to address feedback and achieve quality and performance objectives

Facilitates performance and career development of employees/teams through performance reviews, coaching, and creating development plans that are needed to build competencies and skills

Manages solution delivery and application performance in production (app health, resiliency, performance, security, enterprise data management standards, audit exams and reviews), ensuring all relevant risk, financial, and compliance policies are met

Manages relationships with business and technology partners and leads and creates followership in Communities of Practice in the organization

Contributes to the technology strategy for their technical domain

Creates an inclusive and healthy working environment and helps to resolve organizational impediments/blockers

Ensures that execution is aligned with product strategy by working with product management and other stakeholders

Accountable for team/program level resource and financial management; build and maintain teams through talent acquisition

Set maturity objectives and provide individuals/teams with training and resources to achieve them

Set and track quality and performance objectives

Understand individual and team maturity and performance through team/client feedback

Manage relationships with the business and technology leaders, and vendors for technical products

Be accountable for solution delivery management as relevant to their teams (for example, prioritizing tech debt, compliance and security items, and supporting audits)

Be accountable to ensure all relevant risk, financial, and compliance polices, and standards are met

Be accountable for the application performance in production (app health, resiliency, performance, security, enterprise data management standards, audit exams and reviews)

Ensure that execution is aligned with product strategy by working with Product Management, Product Owners, and other stakeholders

Create an inclusive and healthy working environment and help to resolve organizational impediments/blockers

US - NJ - Pennington - 1600 American Blvd - Hopewell Bldg 6 (NJ2600) Pay and benefits information Pay range $135,900.00 - $220,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set. Discretionary incentive eligible This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviours, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
