Ob/Gyn Physician – AdventHealth West Florida (Ocala, FL)
Join AdventHealth Ocala, a 385‑bed community hospital serving Marion County, for an exciting Ob/Gyn opportunity with a $75k signing bonus. This position offers a competitive base salary, RVU incentives, and a robust benefits package.
Overview We need a Board Certified or Board Eligible Ob/Gyn with experience in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. Candidates may have or not have completed US residency and must possess a current US work visa.
Responsibilities
Manage obstetric care for 2,400+ deliveries annually
Perform minimally invasive surgeries such as laparoscopy for endometriosis, pelvic pain, ovarian cysts, ectopic pregnancy, endometrial ablation, and uterine fibroid surgery
Collaborate with midwives, MFM & OB hospitalists, gynecological surgical techs, and nursing staff
Utilize dedicated OR suites, 8 labor rooms, and a 12‑bed Level II NICU
Provide 24‑hour laborist backup and in‑house anesthesia coverage
Use brand‑new outpatient office building opened in June 2025
Optionally employ robot‑assisted surgery
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
US residency preferred but not required
Current US work visa
