What You’ll Do
Develop and manage procurement policies, contracts, and vendor relationships.
Execute purchase orders, review invoices, and oversee contract renewals.
Lead vendor negotiations and RFP processes.
Monitor compliance with 2 CFR 200 and nonprofit procurement standards.
Conduct cost analyses and recommend improvements.
Manage procurement issues and collaborate with client leadership to resolve challenges.
Supervise and mentor team members while delivering day‑to‑day procurement tasks.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, procurement, or related field.
5+ years of procurement experience, ideally with nonprofits, HHS, or government‑funded organizations.
Strong knowledge of 2 CFR 200 procurement requirements.
Skilled in vendor negotiations, contract management, and compliance oversight.
Advanced Excel skills and ability to work with procurement/ERP systems.
Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with executives, vendors, and staff.
Hybrid: 2–3 days per week onsite in Chicago, balance remote.
Occasional travel within Greater Chicagoland; limited out‑of‑state travel may be required.
