Our Retirement team combines expertise in retirement, actuarial, compliance and administration consulting to support global organizations worldwide in designing, managing, administering, and communicating all types of retirement plans. Whether a client has a defined benefit pension, and/or a defined contribution plan, we collaborate with the organization to determine the right approach to design, funding, investing, governing, compliance, administration and employee engagement that fits their specific goals.

You will contribute to our national project delivery team and make a valuable difference every day to our high-profile client organizations focusing primarily on defined contribution plans. One of the fastest growing areas of our retirement business is assisting clients with various special projects requiring defined contribution expertise. You will have the opportunity to significantly enhance your knowledge of all aspects of benefit plan compliance, design and operation, employ the most cutting-edge tools and resources and work with some of the world’s experts in retirement plan design and management and interact with a national group of colleagues on project delivery.

Defined Contribution Plans Senior Analyst As a colleague focused on projects related to Defined Contribution Plans, you will:

Be a technical resource to clients and client teams for areas related to DC retirement plan compliance, vendor management, fiduciary management, plan design, and cost forecasting

Respond to queries from consultants and clients with respect to plan provisions and resolve/escalate any problems or issues

Draft plan amendments and summary plan descriptions, and review employee communications

Assist with compliance corrections

Support fee benchmarking and vendor search RFPs

Provide support for implementations due to plan design changes, provider changes or merger and acquisitions

Support non-discrimination testing

Support plan design benchmarking and plan design change cost analysis

Support on-going client retainer relationships

Support plan compliance reviews and remediation efforts as needed

Build relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams

Demonstrate natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with clients/colleagues at all levels

Deliver work in accordance to project deadlines

Deliver on projects to meet or exceed client expectations

Increase efficiency within client teams by identifying ways to improve processes

Requirements

Undergraduate degree required; Certification (ASPPA, CEBS) or other designations for practical experience is a plus but not required

10+ years in defined contribution plans, including vendor management, plan design, compliance and administration gained in a human resources consulting, benefits outsourcing, investment advisory, recordkeeper, or defined contribution asset management company

401(k) and/or 403(b) plan experience, is necessary along with knowledge of IRC, ERISA and other relevant laws and regulations affecting employee benefit plans

Proven experience successfully working on multiple projects and producing quality deliverables on time

Operations experience supporting and coordinating large groups and initiatives

Work experience that demonstrates strong technical, and/or client service and leadership skills

Passion for solving problems and sharing solutions to exceed the standards of the client

Ability to be a self-starter and work independently and remotely, but also cooperatively in a close team environment

Ability to prioritize and have good attention to detail

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Excellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills

Ability to collaborate with remote teams and travel as needed

Compensation And Benefits Compensation The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $65,000 to $80,000 USD per year.

The role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
