Job Description Cost Accountant Ensure financial accuracy and support mission-critical operations.
Teledyne Microwave Solutions has over 50 years of experience delivering advanced microwave/RF components and integrated assemblies for aerospace, defense, and communications. Our technologies power aviation, radar, Satcom, space, and electronic warfare systems worldwide. If you’re detail-oriented and passionate about cost accounting, this role is for you.
What you’ll do
Perform month-end closing processes and prepare journal entries for inventory, COGS, and fixed assets
Reconcile accounts for Inventory, Cost of Sales, and General Ledger
Analyze variances such as Purchase Price and Work Order variances
Assist with inventory costing and related ERP activities
Support internal and external audits, including SOX testing and annual reviews
Track capital expenses, manage fixed assets, and handle prepaid expense amortization
Prepare business property tax filings and U.S. Census survey reporting
Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
What you need
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
5+ years of cost accounting experience in public or private industry (required)
Experience in medium to large company accounting environments (required)
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (required)
Familiarity with ERP systems (Info XA) and fixed asset software (advantage)
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills (required)
Must be a U.S. Person (includes U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, and asylees) (required)

Salary Range:
$96,200.00-$128,300.000
