Finance Team Purpose Statement:
The Quatrro Finance team strives to achieve a higher degree of accountability and transparency while efficiently and effectively providing excellent services in achieving agency objectives.
Position Summary:
Under supervision of the Controller, the Staff Accountant provides finance and accounting related services for daily/monthly agency operations, including coordinating with outsourced finance staff.
Salary Range:
$60,000 - $65,000

Primary Functions
Assist Controller in ensuring accurate and efficient processing of transactions (expense/invoices) in the expense management system
Prepare and deposit checks in accordance with organizational policies and internal controls
Print and distribute accounts payable checks and related payment documentation
Assist with basic accounts payable processes, including documentation tracking and reconciliation support
Prepare schedules, documentation, and support materials for internal and external audits and other reporting requirements
Assist the Controller with administering financial and administrative systems (e.g., accounting software, expense management, procurement), including user setup, access changes, and basic troubleshooting
Help document procedures and workflows related to financial systems
Provide administrative support to Finance and Accounting leadership as needed
Train staff on finance-related systems, processes, and basic financial procedures
Provide guidance and support to users regarding finance processes, timelines, and documentation requirements
Assist Controller in implementing and monitoring effective metrics for AP team performance
Assist with other accounting tasks and special projects as required by CFO/Controller/Other assigned staff
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred, or relevant experience in the accounting field
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in accounts payable, data entry and financial reporting
Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with ERPs (e.g., Oracle NetSuite, Sage Intacct) and expense management systems (e.g., Ramp and Bill)
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
