National Director, Creative & Video Production
Planned Parenthood Federation of America is seeking a visionary and strategic National Director, Creative and Video. This role reports to the Vice President of Brand on the Brand Team and leads national creative and video vision, strategy, and identity across PPFA and PPAF brand.
Purpose
Define & shape national creative & video vision for PPFA/PPAF brand and campaigns.
Advance creative strategy, shaping direction, motion design, identity, merchandising.
Lead video strategy across pre‑production to post‑production for national initiatives.
Serve as chief guardian of national visual brand.
Engagement
Translate organizational objectives into creative/video strategies.
Set goals, objectives, key results aligning with Brand and Federation initiatives.
Establish scalable workflows and brand‑first quality control.
Provide high‑level direction and feedback on all projects.
Ensure visual identity evolves and is widely adopted.
Plan clear distribution of creative/video content with cross‑team collaboration.
Encourage innovative assets that protect brand and advance SRH issues.
Collaborate with National Office and affiliate teams anticipating creative/video needs.
Deliver strategic solutions for Brand, External Affairs, affiliates, and National Office.
Delivery
Manage & mentor creative & video leadership teams.
Provide oversight for electoral work.
Work with VP of Brand to set goals, manage budget, navigate priorities.
Promote collaborative, solution‑focused communication.
Foster inclusive environment across teams.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
15+ years progressive creative leadership, 10+ years managing creative or video staff.
Bachelor’s degree in Design or related field.
Excellent portfolio demonstrating conceptual storytelling.
Ability to execute pioneering work tied to strategic outcomes.
Proven budget, vendor, and project timeline management.
Experience developing brand guidelines and high‑quality design.
Strong multi‑project management skills.
Excellent cross‑division collaboration.
Preferred experience engaging BIPOC, young, LGBTQ+ audiences.
Preferred non‑profit federated model experience.
Adobe Creative Suite proficiency preferred.
Compensation $182,000 - $190,000 per year
Travel 0-25% domestic
