Role Description We're looking for a Data Engineer to build the data and feature engineering pipelines that power operational AI workloads on Palantir's Foundry and AIP platforms. Data Engineers at Andersen Consulting embed with client technical teams, engagement leaders, and product managers to understand client data landscapes and implement solutions. Your core responsibility is building modern data pipelines that solve real business problems and support production AI systems. This is an individual contributor role focused on technical delivery.

In This Role, You Will

Build data pipelines and workflows to prepare data for machine learning and GenAI workloads on Palantir's Foundry and AIP platforms.

Deploy modern tools to support machine learning and LLM operations for enterprise clients.

Contribute meaningfully to client outcomes through hands‑on technical delivery.

Responsibilities

Build data and feature engineering pipelines with exceptional quality and be held to that standard.

Embed with client technical teams to explore source data, gather requirements, and define required transformations.

Design ontology models and implement pipelines with complex transformations across 5+ source systems.

Build applications that demonstrate capabilities and accelerate client decision‑making.

Implement security and permissions architecture to support enterprise governance requirements.

Set the standard for disciplined data engineering including automated testing, continuous integration and deployment, code reviews, and well‑documented code.

Requirements

6 years of technical experience delivering production data solutions.

3 years of hands‑on experience building solutions on Palantir Foundry and AIP platforms.

Demonstrated track record designing and deploying large‑scale data engineering solutions that deliver tangible, ongoing value.

Strong coding experience writing production‑quality SQL and Python code with expert‑level knowledge of scientific computing libraries (PyTorch, NumPy, Polars, etc.).

Professional experience with relational and non‑relational database technologies with expert‑level SQL knowledge.

Experience with full‑stack Foundry development including ontology modeling and design patterns.

Strong communication skills for client‑facing delivery, requirements gathering, and solution design.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience building applications and leading technical demonstrations for clients.

Demonstrated ability to implement security and permissions architecture in enterprise environments.

Industry domain expertise in finance, healthcare, or manufacturing.

Compensation and Benefits Our firm offers a competitive base salary and comprehensive benefits package designed to support the well‑being, growth, and long‑term success of our people. Salary Range : For individuals hired to work in San Francisco, the expected salary range for this role is $142,200 to $202,700. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and skill set.

Benefits : Employees (and their families) are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance coverage. Employees may enroll in the firm’s 401(k) plan upon hire.
