Optomi, in partnership with a leader in the civil engineering space, is seeking a skilled SAP Ariba Analyst to join our IT team in a virtual capacity. The successful candidate will support and optimize our SAP Ariba solutions, including SAP Ariba Source to Pay modules, ensuring seamless integration with our procurement processes. This role involves working closely with cross‑functional teams to enhance system functionality and drive process improvements.
What You’ll Be Doing
Understand business processes, objectives and challenges to evaluate and recommend solutions that best meet business needs based on best practices and audit compliance requirements.
Look for improvement opportunities and troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Configure and maintain SAP Ariba modules, including Buying and Invoicing, Sourcing and Contracts, Supplier Lifecycle Management and Risk, to support procurement needs.
Collaborate with stakeholders remotely to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Provide virtual technical support and troubleshooting for SAP Ariba‑related issues.
Conduct system testing and coordinate virtual UAT for new features and updates.
Stay updated on SAP Ariba best practices and industry trends.
Requirements
4‑year degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (preferred)
Must be self‑motivated and detail oriented
Minimum 5+ years of extensive functional knowledge of SAP Ariba Source to Pay modules
Experience in application design and configuration of Ariba solutions
Experience working on integration between Ariba and ERP systems such as SAP S/4 HANA
Ability to understand complex business processes, identify solutions and process improvement opportunities
Experience supporting Ariba upgrades, including test plan development and UAT coordination
Capacity to document and implement SAP Ariba best practices, and promote these practices to team members
Effective communication with project team members at different technical levels
Ability to work independently in a virtual environment and as part of a remote team
