Details for Position
Specialty: Board Certified/Board Eligible Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, Internal Medicine with 3 years of current ER experience
Client: VAMC
Location: Memphis, TN
Dates coverage is needed: ASAP ongoing (5 year contract, schedule is currently made 1 month in advance, working on getting that pushed out to 3 months)
Schedule/Shifts Times: 10 hour shifts (11am 9pm and 6pm 4am)
Call Requirements: None
Patient Volume: 1-2 patients per hour
Patient Ages: adults
Types of Cases: Emergency cases (no major cases, heart attacks, strokes, trauma will get routed to local Hospital or stabilized and shipped to local Hospital with higher level of care)
Type of Charting: EMR CPRS (VAMC proprietary system)
Requirements: BLS, ACLS, DEA
Reason for Need: staff shortage
Credentialing Timeframe: 6-8 weeks on average
