Associate Marketing Manager, Engagement & Events

Responsibilities
Help to plan, coordinate, and execute marketing events, including editorial event initiatives, signature programs, conferences, and other promotional activations
Coordinate with the creative design team for event branding, signage, and promotional materials needed for event launch and on-site
Work with the sales & account executive team to identify strategic event sponsorship opportunities
Coordinate with internal teams (editorial, design, sales) to ensure consistent brand messaging and audience experience
Manage event communications including email campaigns, landing pages, social media promotion, and post-event follow-up
Develop and execute campaigns to deepen engagement among current subscribers and increase retention
Partner with central marketing teams to optimize onboarding, re‑engagement, and loyalty programs
Monitor key engagement metrics to identify trends and opportunities to improve LTV
Requirements
1–3 years of experience in marketing (experiential), communications, or brand management with experience in subscriber loyalty programs
Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple initiatives in a fast‑paced environment
Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.), email marketing platforms, and analytics dashboards preferred
Passion for supporting journalism, media, and customer development
