We are seeking a
Manufacturing Engineer I
to join a thriving company in Union, Ohio. This role provides day-to-day support for products in our manufacturing assembly areas, driving continuous improvement through lean manufacturing principles to enhance quality, efficiency, and productivity. Day Shift: 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm Pay: $75-$90K plus bonus and outstanding benefits
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field. Minimum of 6 months engineering experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience with 3D CAD software. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles. Mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret technical documentation. Experience with SolidWorks, SAP, and labeling software. Machine shop experience. Multi-lingual (Spanish, Laotian, etc.). Identify and implement process and assembly improvements using lean manufacturing principles. Provide troubleshooting support to the manufacturing floor. Create and maintain manufacturing processes and procedures. Assist in designing and setting up new product line assembly cells. Train assembly personnel on processes and procedures. Collaborate with packaging vendors for custom packaging solutions. Design and implement assembly fixtures to improve efficiency.
