Job Description Job Description We are seeking an experienced Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning/Refrigeration (HVAC-R) Technician to join our team. Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of HVAC systems across commercial and residential properties. Our company also services commercial refrigeration equipment and commercial cooking/restaurant equipment. *Tools, truck, cell phone all provided by the company. Pay negotiable depending in experience/capability Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, ventilation systems, boilers, and refrigeration equipment. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions. Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure efficiency and longevity. Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems such as pipe fitting, leak detection, and drainage repairs. Utilize testing tools such as ohmmeters to measure electrical resistance and verify system functionality. Repair mechanical components using welding techniques or other equipment repair methods as needed. Technician is responsible for filling out service repair tickets and parts requisitions for jobs. Experience Experience working with HVAC systems in commercial or residential settings. Mechanical knowledge of HVAC/R (refrigeration) systems. Experience in commercial cooking equipment repair is a plus, but training is available to candidates. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required; experience operating drivers preferred. Candidates should possess a comprehensive understanding of HVAC/R principles along with field service expertise in troubleshooting systems efficiently.
