Accounting Manager
to join their established finance team. This role is ideal for a professional with strong accounting expertise, leadership skills, and experience leveraging ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) to drive efficiency and insight.
Key Responsibilities Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger. Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with regulatory standards. Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and coordinate with external auditors. Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets. Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Collaborate with operations and senior management to provide financial insights that enhance efficiency and profitability. Utilize ERP systems, with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) experience considered highly beneficial, to streamline processes and reporting.
Qualifications & Skills CPA designation required
(or equivalent professional accounting certification). Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum 4 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Strong knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting and inventory management. Hands-on experience with ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) experience is a strong asset. Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in financial reporting tools. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities. Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.
