Role Overview We are looking for a skilled
Level 2 Network Cabling Technician
to support the development and maintenance of our network infrastructure. This role is hands-on, requiring expertise in both copper and fiber optic cabling within an enterprise LAN/WAN environment. Key Responsibilities 1. Installation & Physical Infrastructure Cable Management:
Run, pull, and splice copper and fiber optic cables, including
CAT5, CAT6 , and other low-voltage cabling. Hardware Assembly:
Assemble and arrange equipment racks, patch panels, and materials for network deployment. Splicing:
Perform precise terminations and splicing for fiber optic connections. 2. Maintenance & Troubleshooting System Testing:
Assess LAN/WAN systems to identify bottlenecks and eliminate connectivity issues. Fiber Support:
Use specialized test equipment to identify faulty cables and perform necessary replacements. Upgrades:
Assist in the ongoing improvement of network communications to ensure high performance. Required Skills & Experience Cabling Expertise:
Proven experience with CAT5/CAT6 and fiber optics. Tools:
Proficiency with cable testers, crimpers, and fiber splicing kits. Technical Knowledge:
Understanding of basic LAN/WAN architecture. Physical Ability:
Ability to work onsite, move equipment, and manage cable runs in a physical data center or office environment.
