Position Summary:

The IT Manager is responsible for leading and managing all information technology systems and services across all FCA locations. This includes oversight of the Infor Syteline/CSI ERP platform, OpenText BizManager EDI, Factory Track, LAN/WAN networks, firewalls, Windows servers, cloud services, and cybersecurity operations. The IT Manager ensures that all systems deliver accurate, timely, and secure data to support manufacturing, engineering, and administrative functions throughout the organization. IT Strategy, Planning & Governance Develops and implements IT policies, procedures, and standards for computer operations, security, and system usage. Aligns IT initiatives with company goals through cross-departmental communication and strategic planning. Evaluates proposed IT projects to assess operational impact, cost, security, and long-term viability. Manages IT asset lifecycle planning, including identifying and replacing end-of-life hardware, software, and systems. System Administration & Operations Management Oversees day-to-day operation of all core business systems, including Infor Syteline/CSI ERP, Infor Factory Track, Bartender, and OpenText BizManager EDI. Ensures reliable operation of cloud-based services including email, file storage, and backups. Reviews system performance reports to proactively detect errors, security risks, or operational issues. Leads the company's cybersecurity program to protect digital assets from internal and external threats. Implements and maintains security controls, antivirus/EDR systems, firewalls, MFA, password policy, and patch management. Ensures compliance with company IT policies, customer requirements, industry standards, and audit obligations. Oversees data protection and privacy practices and manages incident response procedures. Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity Develops and maintains disaster recovery (DR) and backup strategies to ensure system availability and data integrity. Conducts periodic DR tests and updates documentation to ensure readiness for system outages or cyber events. User Support, Training & Documentation Supports all system users, assists in resolving technical problems, and ensures service quality standards are met. Develops training materials and conducts training sessions for ERP, EDI, and other business systems. Creates and maintains accurate IT documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and network diagrams. Vendor & Project Management Manages relationships with hardware, software, cloud, and service vendors to resolve issues and negotiate services. Oversees installation, testing, and implementation of new systems, tools, and software solutions. Evaluates and tests newly developed programs to ensure compatibility and performance. Leadership & Administrative Duties Provides leadership to IT staff, establishing expectations and mentoring team members. Assists management with budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control of IT expenditures. This position provides direct supervision and leadership to IT Department staff. providing ongoing coaching and performance evaluations; and managing disciplinary actions and conflict resolution in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field from a four-year accredited college or university. (4-6 years of progressively responsible IT management or systems administration experience, or an equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience. # Strong technical expertise with Microsoft Windows Server operating systems, including Active Directory, Group Policy, file/print services, DNS/DHCP, and server administration best practices. # Advanced knowledge of Infor Syteline/CSI ERP, OpenText BizManager EDI, and Seagull Scientific BarTender label printing software is required. # Strong understanding of LAN/WAN networking, including switches, firewalls, VPN technologies, wireless networks, VLANS, and TCP/IP fundamentals. # Experience managing firewalls and network security appliances, preferably Fortinet (FortiGate), Cisco, or equivalent enterprise systems. # Hands-on experience with cloud-based services, such as Microsoft 365, ShareFile, Azure AD, cloud email systems, and cloud backup platforms. # Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and practices, including threat prevention, patch management, endpoint protection, vulnerability mitigation, and security policy enforcement. # Experience with SQL-based environments, including understanding of database structures, queries, backups, and performance considerations (Infor CSI uses SQL Server). # Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Outlook, Excel, and Word. # Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users, lead small group discussions, and present information to management. # Advanced analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose complex hardware, software, network, and systems issues under time-sensitive conditions. # Strong organizational and prioritization abilities, including managing multiple tasks, projects, deadlines, and competing demands with attention to detail. # Ability to interpret technical documentation, including diagrams, system architecture, electrical/network schematics, technical manuals, and software instructions. # Strong understanding of IT security principles, including risk assessment, threat mitigation, and best practices for protecting systems and data. # Ability to manage and coordinate IT projects, including planning, implementation, testing, user training, and post-deployment support. # Strong customer-service orientation, with the ability to support users at all skill levels and maintain professionalism during system outages and high-pressure situations. # Ability to define problems, collect relevant data, evaluate options, and implement effective solutions, even when faced with abstract or incomplete information. # Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information in accordance with company policies.
