About the role
As a medical director for primary care in a Federally Qualified Health Center, you’ll be a forward‑thinking strategic leader, and use your analytical skills to implement quality initiatives to provide administrative and clinical oversight for a wide range of patients, including those who are underinsured or uninsured. You’ll report directly to the chief medical officer and have strong influencing ability in your role. You’ll be dedicated to patient‑centered care for the underserved population, and manage a multidisciplinary team focused on a better care experience for our patients.

Oversees primary care provider performance
Act as primary care provider
You will be responsible for primary care at all locations with occasional travel to all Neighborhood sites.

Education And Experience
Medical degree MD/DO or a master’s level NP/PA
Board certification and active license
5+ years of clinical experience required
2-5 years of administrative or clinical leadership experience required
FQHC or healthcare experience preferred
Attention to detail, organizational skills, and follow through
Kindness: you treat each person with respect and compassion, valuing each person’s story
Resiliency: you see opportunities to innovate and find solutions when challenges arise
Teamwork: you are open to others’ unique perspectives, and will collaborate to meet shared goals
Able to read, write and speak the English language. A second language of Spanish preferred.
What We Offer Compensation: $235,000 - $259,000 (based on a full time work week). Individual compensation is based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other position related components.
