DevOps Engineer, Merge – San Francisco, CA

What You'll Do
With reliability and scalability in mind, work with the engineering team to produce highly performant architectures that extend to some of our largest customers, reading and writing millions of rows per second across databases, workers, and services.
Participate in roadmapping, architecture, and planning discussions.
Produce high‑quality, production‑ready, maintainable infrastructure and code.
Lead large projects from initial inception to production.
Unblock and support your team of peers.
Participate in on‑call rotation and system maintenance activities.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
4+ years of full‑time DevOps experience.
Deep experience with Terraform, AWS, and Kubernetes.
Ability to own the planning and deployment of highly scalable systems.
Familiarity with one or more of the following: Python, Prometheus, Redis, Elasticsearch, AWS Aurora, Redshift, Kinesis, EC2, EKS, ECS.
Compensation
Cash compensation range: $153,000 – $202,000.
Full‑time employees receive an equity compensation package.
Compensation is based on a wide array of factors including skill set, experience, and certifications.
