Overview Southwind Animal Hospital, a long-established and highly respected practice in East Memphis, Tennessee, is seeking a dedicated Medical Director (Veterinarian) to join our amazing team. We provide comprehensive, compassionate care to our loyal clients and their beloved companions, and we're looking for a doctor who shares our passion.

Passion for Growth: Doctors are strongly encouraged to pursue their areas of interest (our current team focuses on dentistry, behavior, and internal medicine). Work up cases thoroughly in-house while having easy access to specialist referrals for complex challenges.

Benefits & Compensation
Competitive Compensation: Base salary starting at $130,000 + performance‑based bonus.
Robust Sign‑On & Retention bonus of up to $75,000.
Medical Director stipend (paid monthly).

Flexible 4‑day workweek, designed to support work‑life balance.
Practice Details Our 10,000 square foot, paperless hospital is equipped with the tools you need to provide the best medical care.
Clinical & Diagnostic Capabilities
Digital Radiology (General & Dental)
Ultrasound | In‑House Laboratory (Chemistries, CBC, Urinalysis, Cytology)
Surgical Suite with state‑of‑the‑art monitoring
Dental Suite | Cold Laser Therapy
On‑site Pharmacy
6 exam rooms (2‑feline only)
Paperless medical records
Practice Certifications
AAHA – Accredited
AAFP Cat Friendly Certified
