As a senior software engineer on the Sensor Foundations Team, you will help create clean, optimized sensor data APIs for perception models and drive the transition of low-level perception tasks from algorithms to machine learning. You will work on system integration, performance optimization, and develop new metrics to evaluate task and system quality.
You Will
Transition low-level perception tasks from algorithms to machine learning
Work on system integration and optimization
Evaluate task-level and system-level quality, developing new metrics as needed
You Have
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Robotics, or a related technical field
5+ years of industry experience
Strong C/C++ skills
Proficiency with Python
Experience with computer vision and machine learning
Experience with system integration
We Prefer
Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Machine Learning, or a related discipline
Experience with sensor data processing (LiDAR, camera, or radar)
Experience in the autonomous vehicle industry
Compensation & Benefits Salary: $204,000 – $259,000 USD per year (actual starting pay varies by location, experience, and qualifications).
