About The Role As the Senior Manager of Treasury at Anthropic, you will play a key role in building and leading our treasury function in support of our mission to develop safe and beneficial AI systems. This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role designed for a strategic and analytical treasury professional who thrives in fast‑paced, high‑growth environments. You will partner directly with the Head of Treasury to execute core initiatives in cash management, capital structure management, and financial risk management.
Responsibilities Cash & Liquidity Management
Manage daily treasury operations including cash management, forecasting, and liquidity planning
Implement cash concentration and pooling strategies across global operations
Maintain and enhance cash flow forecasting models and liquidity stress testing frameworks
Optimize working capital management and payment processes
Drive process improvements and automation to enhance treasury operations efficiency
Treasury Strategy & Capital Management
Support capital structure optimization, including debt and equity financing strategies and cost of capital analysis
Develop investment policies to support business growth
Partner with cross‑functional teams to support business expansions, M&A transactions, and strategic initiatives
Maintain credit agreements and ensure compliance with debt covenants
Risk Management
Maintain treasury policies and financial risk management frameworks
Ensure robust internal controls and compliance with treasury policies
Monitor interest rate, foreign exchange, and credit risk exposures and implement hedging strategies and derivative instruments as appropriate
Develop and report on key treasury metrics and risk indicators
Qualifications
Results‑oriented with a track record of optimizing treasury operations and reducing costs
5+ years of progressive treasury or corporate finance experience
Experience supporting treasury functions in high‑growth technology environments
Knowledge of cash management, liquidity planning, and financial risk management
Skilled in financial modeling
Additional Preferred Experience
Experience at a public technology company or high‑growth startup
Technical skills in treasury management systems, automation, and data analysis
Experience with international treasury operations and multi‑currency management
Background in interest rate and foreign exchange risk management
Experience with capital‑intensive business models and large‑scale financing requirements
Annual Salary $230,000—$300,000 USD
Logistics
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Location‑based hybrid policy: We expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. Some roles may require more time in our offices.
