Recruiting Manager | Connecting Elite Talent with Exclusive Opportunity Billion Dollar organization targeting a highly experienced and strategic

VP/Head of Treasury & Tax

to lead its treasury operations and tax functions. This role is critical in ensuring optimal cash flow, compliance with tax regulations, and continuous improvement in financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both treasury and tax, proven leadership capabilities, and experience managing banking and credit card relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Lead

cash management and forecasting

efforts, implementing automation and best practices to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with

banks and financial service providers , ensuring effective collaboration.

Manage relationships with

credit card processors and networks , including overseeing vendor performance.

Mentor and lead the

Treasury Operations Team

and

Tax Team , promoting professional development and continuous improvement.

Oversee compliance with

federal, state, and local tax regulations , working closely with a Big 4 accounting firm to support tax initiatives.

Review and analyze

bank analysis statements

to identify cost‑saving opportunities.

Monitor and manage

short-term cash investment opportunities

in alignment with company strategy.

Drive and implement

tax optimization strategies

to support business growth and new initiatives.

Review and approve

quarterly and annual tax and investment disclosures

in financial statements, ensuring GAAP compliance.

Lead

RFP processes

for banking and credit card services.

Ensure secure and efficient execution of

daily wire and ACH transactions

across multiple bank structures.

Oversee enhancements to

ERP systems related to cash management and tax , with a focus on optimization.

Monitor compliance with

credit facility covenants

and manage reporting requirements.

Ensure timely and accurate completion of

KYC (Know Your Customer)

documentation.

Qualifications

BA/BS in Accounting or Tax; MS in Tax or MBA with an emphasis in Accounting/Tax preferred.

Minimum

15 years of experience

in treasury or tax leadership roles.

CPA or CTP certification required.

Demonstrated excellence in

team leadership, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration .

Strong analytical skills and

intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency .

Experience with

ERP systems , Oracle preferred.

In-depth understanding of

tax regulations and treasury best practices .

Prior success in

banking and credit card relationship management , including RFP leadership.

Proficient in MS Office Suite with strong Excel capabilities.
