Responsibilities
Lead cash register operations as a Lead Cashier, ensuring precise handling of cash and credit purchases.
Provide friendly, helpful service to shoppers, donors, people seeking testing or pharmacy patrons, enhancing AHF/OTC’s reputation and encouraging repeat visits.
Ring up sales and answer customer questions, striving to deliver standout service.
Offer assistance to Out of the Closet employees, giving feedback to management on service improvements.
Adapt to various situations with ease, remain flexible, and maintain consistent value to the team.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience; one to three months related experience acceptable.
Language skills: read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
Mathematical skills: basic arithmetic, rate, ratio, percent, and interpretation of bar graphs.
Reasoning ability: apply common sense in written, oral, or diagram instructions, handle problems with several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Flexible work schedule, including nights and weekends; multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Effective team player providing excellent customer service.
