Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Surgery (Cardiothoracic)
Location: Huntsville, AL (Houston County). Position: We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner specializing in cardiothoracic surgery to join our team. The NP will provide comprehensive preoperative and postoperative care, perform patient assessments, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, assist in surgeries, educate patients, maintain documentation, and improve quality of care. Provide comprehensive preoperative and postoperative care for cardiothoracic surgery patients Perform patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams Assist in surgeries and procedures as needed, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes Educate patients and families on surgical procedures, recovery and health management Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations Collaborate with physicians and staff to improve quality of care Skills and qualifications:
