We are seeking an experienced
Medical Director
to oversee clinical operations for a high-impact behavioral health and substance use treatment facility in Mesa, Arizona. This role offers the opportunity to lead crisis stabilization, detox, outpatient behavioral health, and integrated care programs that serve vulnerable populations with compassion, dignity, and evidence-based practices.
What You’ll Do
Provide clinical leadership and oversight for psychiatric, detox, and substance use programs
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of physicians, nurse practitioners, PAs, and clinical staff
Ensure high-quality, trauma-informed, patient-centered care
Oversee clinical compliance, policies, and quality improvement initiatives
Collaborate with executive leadership on program development and strategic planning
Participate in on‑call rotation and provide clinical escalation support
What We’re Looking For
MD or DO with active Arizona licensure (or ability to obtain)
Board Certification in Psychiatry or Addiction Medicine preferred
Minimum 3–5 years of leadership experience in behavioral health, crisis services, or substance use treatment
Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices and regulatory requirements
Dedication to serving underserved communities and supporting integrated care models
