Sr. Director, Total Rewards – BridgeBio
Join us as the Sr. Director, Total Rewards, to set the vision and strategy for BridgeBio’s global compensation, benefits, and performance programs, while remaining deeply hands‑on in building and operating them.

Key Responsibilities
Set the vision and multi‑year strategy for Total Rewards and Performance Management programs, ensuring alignment with company goals, culture, and financial strategy.
Personally lead the design and execution of annual compensation cycles, including merit, bonus, and equity programs.
Own market benchmarking, job architecture, leveling frameworks, and pay structures across functions and geographies.
Evolve BridgeBio’s performance management framework to ensure meaningful differentiation based on performance and impact.
Partner closely with People Business Partners and leaders to drive effective goal‑setting, performance assessment, and calibration.
Define and execute a multi‑year benefits strategy, including leading a transition to a self‑funded medical model.
Drive data, analytics, systems optimization, and process excellence across Total Rewards and Performance programs.
Lead a small Total Rewards team by setting clear vision and priorities while remaining actively involved in execution.
Partner with Finance, Legal, Talent Acquisition, and other People team members to ensure alignment, compliance, and effective delivery.
Communicate Total Rewards and Performance strategies with clarity and transparency across the organization.
Qualifications
12+ years of progressive experience across Total Rewards, compensation, benefits, and/or performance management in a high‑growth and/or global organization.
Deep expertise in broad‑based compensation and equity programs; experience partnering on executive compensation without direct ownership.
Proven track record of designing and operating performance management systems that meaningfully link performance to rewards.
Experience leading benefits strategy, including transitioning to a self‑funded medical plan.
Strong understanding of global pay practices, pay equity, and compliance considerations.
Highly analytical with a strong execution bias and comfort operating as a hands‑on leader.
Ability to set clear strategy and direction while personally delivering results with a small, high‑impact team.
Base Pay Range $247,800 / yr – $282,490 / yr
Location & Work Model San Francisco, CA. This is a hybrid role requiring in‑office collaboration 2–3 times per week.
