Join the Slack Design Team as a Senior Content Designer, focusing on AI and agent interactions within a key product area.
About the Role We’re looking for a writer and designer who excels at solving user experience problems through interaction design best practices, content strategy, information structure, and language. Experience building content systems that enable others to do the same is essential.
Responsibilities
Own product copy and content strategy for your team’s features.
Demonstrate impact proactively using data to guide work and advocate for it.
Partner with Product Marketing, Product Management, and other cross‑functional partners to develop a consistent voice, tone, and taxonomy for your product area.
Act as an active craft mentor to other content designers and help build a positive, collaborative culture.
Requirements
A portfolio of your work.
3+ years experience in product writing, content strategy, and/or copywriting with measurable impact.
Proficiency in Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalent design tools. Experience prototyping with AI tools is a big plus.
Experience creating and applying style guides and related artifacts to help others write successfully.
Ability to track the effects of your work across multiple teams and proactively manage issues and complexity.
Leadership skills: give strong, thoughtful feedback and drive others to improve.
Understanding of the Slack voice and ability to extend it and adapt it based on context.
