A veteran-owned, Cyber AB / CAICO Licensed Training Provider is seeking a Federal Training Program Manager to support and deliver cybersecurity training programs aligned with federal and Department of Defense standards.
This role is ideal for a cybersecurity professional who enjoys teaching, has real-world experience, and wants to make an impact through training.
Pay: $35–$50/hour (DOE & credentials)
Shift: Monday-Friday, day shift
What You’ll Do
- Teach and deliver cybersecurity training (in-person and online)
- Support federal and DoD-aligned training programs
- Travel as needed to deliver training (U.S. & international)
- Work with leadership to support training initiatives
- Assist with audits, assessments, and compliance-focused training
- Support students and instructors to ensure a strong learning experience
Minimum Requirements (Must Have)
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience
- 1+ year of audit or assessment experience
- 2+ years of teaching or instructing experience (any field)
- Desire and ability to teach
- Active cybersecurity certification (see list below)
- Ability to work across multiple time zones
- Ability and willingness to travel
Required Certification (One Required – Active)
- CompTIA Security+
- CompTIA CASP+
- CompTIA Cloud+
- CompTIA PenTest+
- (ISC)2 CGRC / CAP
- GIAC GSEC
Preferred (Nice to Have, Not Required)
- Experience with NIST frameworks (800-53, 800-171, RMF, CSF, Zero Trust)
- Experience building or delivering online courses (LMS)
- Curriculum or training development experience
- Experience working with the U.S. Department of Defense or Federal Government
- Advanced certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA, CySA+, GIAC, FITSP-A, Mile2)
