How you'll make an impact

As a Data Analyst on the Data Science team, you will work with leading healthcare providers to utilize their financial, operational, and clinical data to support world‑class care and improve financial health. Your work will bring new insights to individual clients, client collaboratives and the industry.

Responsibilities

  • Apply data mining techniques and statistical analysis to healthcare and financial data across our client base.
  • Extract, cleanse, and validate data used for analyses.
  • Develop and maintain automated processes and workflows to improve efficiency and consistency of data handling.
  • Extend company data with third‑party sources when needed.
  • Enhance data collection procedures to include information relevant for building analytic systems.
  • Work within the data science team to improve the StrataSphere products.
  • Provide quality assurance on StrataSphere products and work with the data science team to correct errors.
  • Meet with clients and other Strata team members to answer their questions about data or analytics.
  • Conduct ad‑hoc analysis and present results in a clear, actionable manner.
  • Create analytics in Tableau and Excel and share with clients, answering questions.
  • Create automated anomaly detection systems and continuously track performance.
  • Partner with Data Scientists to assist in advanced modeling.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience using statistical data analysis techniques.
  • Experience working with large, complex data sets.
  • Ability to install and configure tools needed for large data set analysis.
  • Strong scripting and programming skills using R and Python.
  • Ability to present analysis results to audiences within healthcare, both financial and clinical.
  • Experience working with clients to investigate data challenges and collaborate on solutions.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau.
  • Proficiency in SQL.
  • Experience with cloud computing services such as AWS, SageMaker, and Snowflake.
  • Strong applied statistics skills (e.g., distributions, statistical testing, regression).
  • Affinity toward data science and a desire to learn.
  • Data‑oriented personality.
  • Ability to travel up to 10 %.

Estimated Salary Range

$70,000 – $85,000
