Manufacturing Electrical Engineer Q-Lab Corporation is currently seeking a Manufacturing Electrical Engineer. Reporting to the Director of Manufacturing Engineering, this position is responsible for designing, managing, and implementing new machinery, tooling, and electro‑mechanical test fixtures to support production of Q‑Lab products and services. Location: Westlake, Ohio Salary: $105,000.00 – $115,000.00 Seniority level: Mid‑Senior level Employment type: Full‑time Who We Are Q‑Lab Corporation is a global leader in providing material durability testing products. Responsibilities Design, manage, and implement new machinery, tooling, and electro‑mechanical test fixtures to support production of Q‑Lab products and services Identify and implement new technology, capital equipment, processes, and methods to improve manufacturing efficiency and ergonomics Design and document electrical systems for custom industrial machines Collaborate with R&D throughout the development process to optimize product designs for manufacturability and cost Plan and manage project requirements, technical risks, deliverables, and timelines Create and maintain engineering documentation for Manufacturing using CAD Required Skills Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial) 8+ years of work experience in a manufacturing environment Advanced understanding of industrial electronics and electrical controls/systems with design and build experience Highly proficient with 3D CAD (Inventor, SolidWorks, etc.) Desired Skills PLC programming experience (Click, Siemens, Campbell Scientific) Demonstrated success with lean methodology We Offer Beautiful corporate headquarters conveniently located off I‑90 in Westlake, Ohio.
