Licensure & Certification Requirements (Immediate Need)
  • Active Pennsylvania Medical License: Required (must be active due to immediate need)
  • Board Certified in Pediatric Pulmonology: Required
  • Pediatric Pulmonology Fellowship: Required
  • DEA License: Required
  • ACLS: Required
  • PALS: Required
Schedule & Call Coverage (Key Screening Information)
  • Coverage Structure:
  • Daytime inpatient coverage
  • Night call coverage
  • Call Schedule:
  • Inpatient and night call typically bundled during the same week
  • Coverage provided 7 days per week during assigned week
  • Call Type: In-House
  • Required Call Response Time: 15 minutesClinical Responsibilities
    • Inpatient rounding (assigned and unassigned patients)
    • Outpatient clinic coverage
    • Bronchoscopy procedures
    • Phone consults (approximately 4 per day)
    • Occasional ICU consults (not exclusively ICU-based)
    Practice Environment
    • Pediatric Pulmonology service
    • Mix of inpatient, outpatient, procedural, and consultative care
