Practice Setting

  • Temporary coverage for a facility undergoing a long-term permanent search.
  • Mix of Inpatient & Outpatient settings, requiring versatility.
  • Anticipated patient volume is 10-15 patients seen, 3-5 admissions, and 5-10 phone consults per 24-hour shift.

Schedule

  • Ongoing need starting January 2026 for 7-10 shifts per month .
  • Shift-based 24-Hour Call schedule.
  • In-House Call with a 30-minute response time and a 3:1 call ratio.

Procedures and Cases

  • Inpatient and Outpatient Obstetrics & Gynecology cases.
  • Required procedures include C-sections, hysterectomy, and tubal ligations.
  • Must be comfortable with IUD insertions.

Requirements

  • Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology, or Board Eligible within 5 years.
  • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
  • Must possess or be able to secure an active Arkansas State Licensure.

Credentialing Requirements

  • Must have an active Arkansas medical license-we are unable to wait for a new license.
  • 12 months of experience in the last 24 months is required.
  • Credentialing support provided for a rapid 15-day turnaround.

Travel Accommodations

  • All travel and lodging expenses are covered for the duration of the locums assignment .
  • Full-scope malpractice insurance is provided.
