Locums Radiologist - Long Beach, California (Weekend Onsite Coverage)Start Date: ASAPContract Length: 13+ weeksShifts Needed: Saturdays & Sundays, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM (10-hour onsite shifts)Coverage Type: Weekend schedule only, no callPositions Available: 1 About the RoleSeeking a Board-Certified Diagnostic Radiologist to assist with weekend onsite coverage. The greatest need is for 10-hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays, with potential for some shorter shifts as well.This is a high-volume environment, with average read volumes of:
  • 80 studies on weekdays
  • 150-180 studies on weekends
Imaging modalities include MRI, CT, ultrasound, and plain films, with a heavier focus on CT and plain films. No nuclear medicine, cardiac, or breast imaging. Preference for body imagers. Key Expectations
  • Must read all studies during the shift - no carryover to next provider
  • Must be willing to work at least one weekend shift per month (more preferred)
  • Prior to start, must be onsite for two weekday shifts for system setup and training
  • Another radiologist is onsite on weekends from 8 AM - 1 PM for support
  • EMR: EPIC
Requirements
  • Board Certification in Diagnostic Radiology (Required)
  • Active & Unrestricted California Medical License (Required)
  • DEA (Required)
  • BLS or ACLS (Required)
  • 1+ year of Diagnostic Radiology experience
  • Must be able to work onsite - this is not a remote role
  • Not open to licensing - must already have CA license
