Sr. Platform Architect
Contribute to building multifaceted enterprise and customized applications for a diverse and growing international client base!
RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead migration from monolithic systems to modular monolith and microservices using domain-driven design (DDD), bounded contexts, and service decomposition Architect multi-tenant, cloud-native SaaS platforms on Azure with strong tenant isolation, elastic scaling, and resource partitioning. Define and enforce enterprise architecture standards across .NET (C#), TypeScript, Angular, SQL Server, and Azure (SOLID, DI, async/reactive patterns). Design distributed systems including service orchestration, API gateways, event-driven architectures, CQRS, event sourcing, IoT/edge, and eventual consistency. Engineer resiliency and high availability using circuit breakers, retries, bulkheads, geo-redundancy, and disaster recovery (Azure App Services, Functions, Service Bus, Cosmos DB, Azure SQL). Establish performance engineering practices: SLOs mapped to SLAs, caching strategies, indexing, query optimization, load testing, and capacity planning. Design and implement observability platforms with OpenTelemetry, distributed tracing, structured logging, metrics, and real-time dashboards. Architect CI/CD and DevOps automation including IaC, automated testing (unit through end-to-end), security scanning, quality gates, and incident response playbooks. Lead security, compliance, and governance initiatives including multi-tenant security, OAuth2/OIDC, encryption, SSDLC, threat modeling, SOC/GDPR compliance, and architecture review boards. Provide technical leadership and mentorship, collaborating cross-functionally and evaluating AI/ML, analytics, and developer productivity tools to drive innovation. This is a direct-hire opportunity in Atlanta. Work onsite the first 5-6 months, then transition to a hybrid schedule of 3 days in the office with 2 days remote (flex days).
REQUIRED SKILLS: Minimum 10+ years in software/platform engineering, with at least 8 years in platform architecture for enterprise SaaS on Azure and .NET tech stack. Proven experience architecting and delivering large-scale, multi-tenant SaaS platforms for global consumer-facing products. Deep expertise in .NET (C#), Azure cloud services (App Services, Functions, Service Bus, Cosmos DB, SQL Server), Azure Open AI, Microsoft Agent Framework, TypeScript, Angular, CI/CD, automated testing, and observability. Mastery of distributed systems, cloud-native patterns, event-driven architectures, and microservices. Demonstrated success in technical debt reduction, performance engineering, and architectural modernization. Experience with architectural frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, C4 Model), architectural governance, and compliance. Strong understanding of platform security, regulatory compliance, and multi-tenant SaaS challenges. PREFERRED SKILLS: TOGAF, Zachman, or similar architecture certification. Advanced knowledge of event sourcing, CQRS, service mesh, and cloud-native security. Familiarity with semantic technologies, knowledge graphs, and AI/ML integration. Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code, automated testing tools, and modern DevOps practices. Strong background in platform security, compliance, and multi-tenant SaaS challenges.
