The Role The company is seeking a Property Accounting Manager to support a two‑building Class A office property located in San Francisco's central business district. With the property currently undergoing renovations and amenity upgrades, this role offers a dynamic environment suited for someone who enjoys operational involvement in addition to core accounting responsibilities. You'll oversee full-cycle property accounting while contributing to lease administration, lender reporting, construction accounting, and financial operations. You'll partner closely with a collaborative property management team known for its supportive, fun, and engaged culture - dogs included! Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle property accounting: journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, financial reporting
- Support lease administration, including new and renewal lease setup in MRI/PMX
- Prepare construction draws for lenders and track renovation/construction costs
- Assist with accounting for leasing commissions, tenant improvements, and capital projects
- Work with property management on ad hoc projects, including new lease onboarding and renovation support
- Build and maintain accounting checklists and Smartsheets to streamline workflows
- Support operational and financial planning with property leadership

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of commercial property accounting experience (Class A office strongly preferred)
- Proficiency with MRI preferred; Yardi acceptable
- Strong knowledge of lease structures, tenant billing, and CAM reconciliations
- Organized, proactive self-starter with strong communication and collaboration skills
