As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. - Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and control entry and exit of personnel, visitors, and vehicles in accordance with post orders.
- Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to company and site protocols.
- Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal management and site personnel to address security-related needs and concerns.
- Remain alert and observant to help to deter theft, vandalism, or other unauthorized activities within the location.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR or first aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
