We are hiring a skilled Forklift Operator to join our Sacramento, California warehouse team! As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, electric pallet jacks) to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload products from trucks and into racking systems.
- Transport materials to and from production, storage, and shipping areas.
- Assist with inventory counts and ensure proper stock rotation.
- Perform pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including proper use of PPE.
- Support overall logistics and warehouse operations by ensuring efficient material handling.
- Follow all safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Excellent attention to detail and awareness of surroundings.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Must be able to perform tasks requiring standing, walking, and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to safety and a strong track record of safe operation.
- Must be comfortable wearing required PPE.
