Join our team as a Warehouse Associate in Boston, Massachusetts! We are seeking hardworking individuals to manage our warehouse inventory and fulfill orders efficiently. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products. You'll be an integral part of our supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming inventory, verifying quantities and checking for damage.
- Pick customer orders using RF scanners and order sheets with high accuracy.
- Pack items securely for shipment, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Stage and prepare outgoing shipments for carrier pickup.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and proficiently.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with physical inventory verification.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, strictly adhering to all safety regulations and wearing designated PPE.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve inventory discrepancies or order fulfillment issues.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and other powered industrial trucks (certification preferred).
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs, standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order processing and inventory management.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
