Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team in Detroit, Michigan. This role is essential for maintaining the smooth flow of goods within our distribution facility, playing a key part in our overall logistics network. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including receiving and stocking inventory, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments. Safety is our top priority; therefore, strict adherence to all safety protocols, including the correct usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. - Receive, verify, and put away incoming inventory.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using order sheets or scanners.
- Pack orders carefully to ensure product safety during transit.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and staging.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification/training available).
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workspace.
- Follow all established safety rules and regulations, including the use of required PPE.
- Participate in regular inventory checks and cycle counts.
- Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
- Support the overall logistics and supply chain operations.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
