Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories to verify stock levels.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies between system records and physical counts.
- Reconcile inventory adjustments and maintain accurate records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, potential issues, and areas for improvement.
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures to prevent loss and damage.
- Collaborate with receiving and shipping teams to ensure accurate put-away and picking.
- Monitor stock rotation (e.g., FIFO/LIFO) as applicable.
- Generate inventory reports for management review.
- Assist in the development and implementation of improved inventory control processes.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including proper lifting and handling of goods, and use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse operations.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, and moderate lifting.
- Good understanding of inventory management best practices and logistics.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE and safe lifting techniques.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
