Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Move materials to and from storage areas.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse.
- Ensure all materials are properly secured and handled with care.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and utilize provided PPE.
- Inspect equipment regularly for proper functioning.
- Support logistics operations as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift certification and proven experience operating forklifts.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Ability to perform significant lifting, up to 50 lbs.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Familiarity with logistics and inventory control systems.
- Good spatial awareness and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
