Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and store items appropriately.
- Pick and pack orders accurately according to customer specifications and company standards.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and guidelines.
- Utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required for specific tasks and areas.
- Perform inventory counts and assist with inventory management as directed.
- Lift and move boxes and materials, often involving considerable lifting.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve daily operational goals within the logistics chain.
- Report any damaged goods or safety concerns immediately to management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, walk, and perform repetitive lifting tasks up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to following safety procedures and wearing appropriate PPE.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Familiarity with basic logistics principles is beneficial.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
