Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator for our busy distribution center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This role is critical for the efficient movement of materials within our warehouse. You will be responsible for operating forklifts to load and unload trucks, move products to and from storage areas, and assist with inventory management. Safety is our top priority, and you will be expected to follow all operational procedures and maintain a safe work environment. This position requires a valid forklift certification, experience, and a strong understanding of Safety protocols. The ability to perform occasional Lifting and consistently use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is also required. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Transport products to and from storage areas.
- Stack and arrange products according to warehouse guidelines.
- Assist with inventory counts and stocktaking.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily and report any issues.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure proper use of required PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all Logistics procedures for material handling.
- Tasks may involve occasional Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse Safety procedures.
- Ability to perform tasks involving physical exertion, including occasional Lifting.
- Reliable and able to work independently.
- Commitment to wearing appropriate PPE.
- Understanding of Logistics operations.
