Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move pallets and materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, containers, and trailers.
- Transport materials to and from production, storage, and shipping areas.
- Stack and unstack pallets and materials in designated racking systems.
- Perform pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
- Accurately record inventory movements and assist with stock checks.
- Follow all safety regulations and procedures, including maintaining a clear work area.
- Wear and maintain required PPE , such as hard hats, safety shoes, and high-visibility vests.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including organizing and cleaning.
- Ensure efficient flow of goods through the warehouse, contributing to our Logistics success.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Valid forklift operator certification or willingness to obtain one.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace Safety .
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
