Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Accurately store merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick items from shelves according to order requirements.
- Pack orders with care and efficiency, ensuring product protection.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, including labeling and necessary documentation.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training or certification may be required).
- Participate in regular inventory counts to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, following all logistics guidelines.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and demonstrate proper use of PPE.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics setting is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of using PPE.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Punctuality and a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
