Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments, verifying contents against shipping manifests and purchase orders.
- Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies, reporting any issues.
- Sort, stock, and organize inventory within the distribution center using appropriate systems.
- Pick and pack orders accurately according to customer specifications.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified and trained).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Participate in regular inventory cycle counts and full physical inventories.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and Safety regulations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the distribution center.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics role is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using scanning equipment and warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, and Lifting up to 60 lbs frequently.
- Commitment to wearing appropriate PPE, including safety glasses and vests.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety procedures and practices.
- Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and pay close attention to detail.
