Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Columbus, Ohio. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and the highest standards of Safety. You will manage a team of warehouse associates, provide training, and ensure all tasks are completed accurately and on time. This role is critical to our logistics success and requires strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and direct the daily activities of warehouse staff, including assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
  • Ensure efficient and accurate receiving, warehousing, and distribution of products.
  • Implement and enforce all warehouse safety procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Train new hires and existing staff on warehouse operations, equipment, and safety protocols.
  • Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Manage equipment maintenance schedules and ensure all machinery is in good working order.
  • Investigate and resolve operational issues, including inventory discrepancies and order fulfillment errors.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment, encouraging teamwork and accountability.
  • Report on warehouse performance metrics and identify areas for improvement in logistics operations.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in warehouse supervision or a similar leadership role within logistics.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
  • Knowledge of Safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse environment.
  • Experience with material handling equipment and forklift operations is a plus.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree is a plus.
  • Must be detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high standards of quality and Safety.
