We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to join our team in Madison, Wisconsin. This key role involves managing the daily operations of our warehouse, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and a strong focus on safety within our logistics network. You will be responsible for inventory control, coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, managing warehouse staff, and upholding all safety standards. This includes ensuring proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to safe lifting techniques. Excellent organizational and leadership skills are a must, as is the ability to problem-solve effectively. Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Manage inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and system updates.
  • Lead, train, and motivate warehouse associates to achieve performance goals.
  • Enforce strict adherence to all safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE and safe lifting practices.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency.
  • Coordinate with carriers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure smooth logistics.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and shipping activities.
  • Address and resolve operational challenges promptly.
  • Ensure the warehouse is maintained in a clean, organized, and secure state.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and provide regular reports on warehouse operations.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse supervision or coordination.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control principles.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Thorough understanding of warehouse safety regulations, including PPE requirements and safe lifting techniques.
  • Ability to analyze data and implement operational improvements.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Capability to lift up to 40 pounds.
  • A commitment to continuous improvement and team collaboration.
