Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Manage inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and system updates.
- Lead, train, and motivate warehouse associates to achieve performance goals.
- Enforce strict adherence to all safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE and safe lifting practices.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency.
- Coordinate with carriers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure smooth logistics.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and shipping activities.
- Address and resolve operational challenges promptly.
- Ensure the warehouse is maintained in a clean, organized, and secure state.
- Monitor key performance indicators and provide regular reports on warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse supervision or coordination.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control principles.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Thorough understanding of warehouse safety regulations, including PPE requirements and safe lifting techniques.
- Ability to analyze data and implement operational improvements.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Capability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- A commitment to continuous improvement and team collaboration.
